Kamera keluaran terbaru saat ini dari Canon yaitu Canon EOS 6D dengan Spesifikasi yang bisa dibilang mantab dengan Sensor CMOS Terbaru (20.2 Megapixel) dan Prosesor DIGIC5+ sehingga dapat memberikan jangkauan ISO yg lebih lebar 100 - 25600 dan bahkan sampai ISO H1: 51200 serta H2: 102400 pada settingan tertingginya. Camera Canon EOS 6D memiliki kecepatan mengambil gambar sebanyak 4.5 frames setiap detiknya (lebih cepat dibandingkan 5D mkii 3.9 fps dan hanya sedikit lebih lambat dibandingkan 5D mk3 6 frames per detik).
Kamera ini juga memiliki kemampuan merekam Video HD dengan resolusi 1080p 30 (29.97), 24 (23.976) and 25 fps, dan 720p 60 (59.94) 50 fps. Untuk mendukung kemampuan Video HD ini, 6D dilengkapi dengan LCD 3" dengan Resolusi 1.040.000 (resolusi sama dengan 5D Mk3)
Kelebihan :
- Ada salah satu fitur menarik di menu Playback yang memungkinkan Anda untuk membuat photobook langsung dari kamera.
- Ada 11 titik AF tersebar dengan baik di dalam frame bidikan, sistem autofokusini sangat responsif dan sesuai dengan harapan kebanyakan fotografer profesional. Meski shutter sudah di rilis, fitur cerdas Canon EOS 6D masih bisa memfokuskan obyek, bahkan pada kondisi pencahayaan kurang sekalipun.
Kelemahan :
- Meski memiliki modus HDR seperti EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EOS 6D hanya bisa menyimpan dalam format JPEG saja sehingga tidak cukup menarik bagi fotografer yang sudah terbiasa menggunakan EOS 5D Mark III.
